**Job Description:**

As a Social Media and Marketing Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our magazine's marketing and social media efforts. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, and audience engagement while contributing to the growth of a new publication.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist in the development and execution of a comprehensive social media strategy to promote the magazine's launch and ongoing content across various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and others.

- Create engaging and culturally relevant content for social media channels, including graphics, videos, and captions, that resonates with our target audience and reflects our brand identity.

- Monitor and engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a sense of community and interaction on social media platforms.

- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in multicultural marketing and social media.

- Assist in planning and coordinating marketing campaigns, events, and partnerships to increase brand awareness and reach new audiences.

- Collaborate with the editorial team to curate and promote magazine content on social media, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and editorial standards.

- Track and analyze social media metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.

- Provide regular reports and insights to the marketing team, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations for optimization.

**Qualifications:**

- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a marketing, communications, or related program.

- Passion for multiculturalism, diversity, and inclusion, with a desire to contribute to positive representation and cultural understanding.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and engage with diverse audiences on social media.
